Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on television. Her parents are from Ireland and Mexico. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. Even though she had small roles, she quickly realized her passion for performing. She moved to New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut major series was on The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in the year 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza has been nominated several times for her role, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. She won the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments after. She was Marisol Deko, as well as the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most recent TV appearance was in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was eventually cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are born of Italian origin and is the younger sister of Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was a very conservative and spiritual one. Milano began her acting career at age seven old. The babysitter took her for her first audition. With more than 1000 applicants her name was picked as one of just four. Milano appeared in advertisements in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
